The Diaconate, or Deacons Ministry, is a part of the Pastoral/Executive Department of the church, and works with the Pastor to ensure spiritual needs of the congregation are met. The Diaconate is responsible for seeing to the spiritual care needs of the congregation through regular visitation, teaching, and in whatever ways deemed necessary to support the spiritual growth of the church. The Diaconate is a servant ministry, and seeks to advance the Kingdom of God through its’ spiritual service. |
